Trailer Reverse Guidance View

When hooking up a trailer, the Class-Exclusive available Trailer Reverse Guidance provides an adjustable display screen view of both sides of your truck and trailer. A loose-shipped rear view camera is also available for upfit installation. It displays in its own window.

Auxiliary Camera System

The available auxiliary wired camera system is a Mopar® accessory option that enables customized camera positioning on or within your upfit or trailer. The system integrates into the vehicle’s electrical architecture via an available Auxiliary Camera Prep Package offered on all Chassis Cab models.

Trailer Tier Pressure Display

The new 2019 Ram Chassis Cab offers a Class-Exclusive available Trailer Tire Pressure Monitoring Display, which provides live feedback to the cluster display with 12-sensor capability for confidence when trailering.

PTO Configuarations

Both Class-Exclusive available AISIN automatic transmissions offer PTO capability from the left or right side with 4×4 or 4×2 configurations to accommodate a variety of upfits.

Six Auxiliary Switches

Inside, the new 2019 Ram Chassis Cab comes standard with an integrated switch bank featuring six auxiliary buttons. On models equipped with PTO, the sixth auxiliary switch becomes a dedicated PTO switch.

Mobile Mode RPM Up

In addition to Stationary Elevated Idle Up capability, which sets a specific engine-idle speed when your truck is parked, a new available Mobile Mode RPM Up setting allows you to use steering wheel controls to set a higher RPM while the PTO is in Mobile Mode.

Split-Shaft PTO Mode

The Class-Exclusive available 6.7L Cummins® Turbo Diesel engine lets you choose between two speeds in Split-Shaft Mode—either a direct 1:1 drive ratio (4th gear), or a more efficient fifth gear ratio—if the application permits.

Available Dual Fuel Tanks

In addition to a Best-in-Class 52-gallon Single Rear-Mounted Fuel Tank, an available Best-In-Class 74-gallon Dual Fuel Tank consists of two independent fill necks to accommodate your upfit. The system automatically transfers fuel between the tanks, eliminating your need to switch between fuel sources

The new 2019 Ram Chassis Cab features a Vehicle System Interface Module (VSIM) that allows for faster, easier upfitting with access to over 70 vehicle inputs/outputs, including lighting and new PTO controls.

The upfitter-friendly frame features straight flat frame rails behind the cab, is available in standard frame Cab Axle (CA) lengths and comes with pre-drilled frame mounting holes for a variety of applications.

Active Grille Shutters

Standard active shutters instantly adapt to speed, load and engine temperature. This provides optimum engine cooling, increases efficiency and reduces aerodynamic drag.

Engine Shutdown Timer

The available engine shutdown timer turns off your engine/PTO automatically after idling for five minutes. New for 2019, drivers can disable the timer when their work requires it.

Automatic Emergency Braking

The new 2019 Ram Chassis Cab is the only truck in its segment that can help warn the driver when an accident is imminent. Available Forward Collision Warning with Automatic Emergency Braking readies the brakes and displays a warning and audible alert when it senses a potential frontal impact. If the driver takes no action it will automatically apply the brakes—on the truck and trailer—to bring both to a complete stop.

Class-Exclusive Available Adaptive Cruis Control With Stop

When properly equipped, the new 2019 Ram Chassis Cab can maintain a preset distance, selected by the driver, from vehicles in the lane ahead. If slower traffic is detected, the truck can automatically adjust its speed all the way down to 0 MPH, even with up to a 35,220-pound trailer attached.

Parksense® Front And Rear Park Assist System

The Class-Exclusive available ParkSense® Front and Rear Park Assist System features sensors integrated within the front bumper and your upfit that take the guesswork out of parking and maneuvering in tight spaces. Rear park sensors are shipped to your upfitter for installation.

Adaptive Forword Lighting System

The Class-Exclusive available Adaptive Headlamps are new for 2019 with crisp LED lighting. The lamps turn up to 15 degrees to increase nighttime visibility.
